Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using the Blackcoat AI platform and services (the "Services") operated by Blackcoat AI ("we," "us," "our").

Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned upon your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who wish to access or use the Service.

    Blackcoat AI provides an AI-powered workspace for legal professionals in India. The Services include, but are not limited to, legal research tools, document analysis, automated legal drafting, and collaborative case management features, offered under different subscription tiers ("Standard", "Premium", "Enterprise").

    To use our Services, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.

  4. User Content and Intellectual Property

    You retain all ownership rights to the documents, case files, and any other content you upload to the Service ("User Content"). We do not claim any ownership rights over your User Content. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and process your User Content solely for the purpose of providing and operating the Services for you.

    The Service and its original content (excluding User Content), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Blackcoat AI and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of India. Our trademarks may not be used in connection with any product or service without our prior written consent.

      Fees: Certain features of the Service are available only through paid subscription plans. You agree to pay all applicable fees for the plan you select.

    • Billing

      Billing: We use a third-party payment processor to bill you through a payment account linked to your account. All payments are non-refundable, except as required by law.

    • Renewal

      Renewal: Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless you cancel it through your account management page or by contacting our support team.

    You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to:

    • Upload any content that infringes upon any third party's intellectual property rights.
    • Engage in any activity that is fraudulent, false, or misleading.

    • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its related systems.

    To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Blackcoat AI, its directors, employees, or partners be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the Service; (iii) any content obtained from the Service; and (iv) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence) or any other legal theory.

    These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi.

    We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. By continuing to access or use our Service after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
